WHICH OF SCOTLAND’S NO VOTERS WILL NOW VOTE YES?

SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS NO VOTERS WHO MAY NOW BE ENCOURAGED TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS

OFFSPRING OF MIDDLE/ UPPER CLASS SHEEPLE – 16 – 20 years old, many voted No because that is what their parents told them to do. Guaranteeing (a) NHS continuity and (b) new Scotland-based broadcasting ‘SBC instead of BBC’, would perhaps assist.

OH DEAR’s – these are people who placed a NO vote without actually even being aware of the existence of The White Paper, let alone studying what they voting for.

PENSIONERS who were wrongly convinced that they would lose their pensions.

FREE THINKERS with huge concerns about the capability of the SNP, in terms of their ability to run the country.

DEBT WORRIERS who have analysed previous White Paper, considered debt, and realised that what The SNP term ‘future negotiations’, needs to take place before the existence of the next White Paper, so that we all know exactly what we’re actually voting for!!! How much debt will an Independent Scotland have? Per head?

CURRENCY WORRIERS, will never be satisfied until the proposals are crystal clear, and workable.

CENTRALISED BANKING WORRIERS, who have already concluded that an Independent Scotland would require the main economic structure and controls to exist within our country.

EU-MOVERS who were wrongly told they would be evicted from an Independent Scotland.

THOSE NOW HOLDING BOTH HANDS IN FRONT OF THEMSELVES, that includes everybody who now realises that they were tricked, conned, deceived – by purdah-breaking Edinburgh Agreement breach, the infamous ‘VOW’ introduction. The fact that Scotland was recently dragged into more war in Syria, despite 97% of Scotland’s Westminster’s MP’s voting against it, has been of significant relevance.

FRIENDS, RELATIVES AND COLLEAGUES, who can perhaps be encouraged to change their opinion, based either on the next White Paper, or a desire to see resolution for our divided country, via Independence.

And whilst writing, there are:

SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS NO VOTERS WHO WILL PROBABLY NEVER EVER CHANGE THEIR MINDS

YES voters seeking to encourage these categories to change their minds, you are probably simply wasting your time. Invest your time elsewhere by encouraging individuals in any of the 10 categories above!!!!!!!!

PSN’s – Paranoid Schizophrenic No’s. These individuals have strongly held No beliefs despite the existence of superior evidence to the contrary.

NAWBAG’s – people who simply shrug their shoulders, and say: ‘I don’t like the idea of being Independent’, – no further reason given.

PUBLIC SCHOOL advocates and attendees. Convinced that THE SNP would remove existing charitable status for all public schools. (NB We have suggested that a White Paper 25 year moratorium would perhaps change some minds!)

MIDDLE / UPPER CLASS SHEEPLE – driven by herd mentality which sugggests Independence is something which is simply not to be considered, their individual assets always prioritised over and above the needs of the country.

And remember, whenever discussing Independence with previous No voters, never ever play the man, always play the ball!!!

  1. Sorry but however well intentioned some of that doesn’t make sense. You cannot negotiate the terms till you have a mandate. There is no chance of that before the countries of the world are recognising de facto independence. If that is a deal breaker then a voter isn’t ready. If its this hard to get terms for very limited change negotiating terms for severance will only be achieved with the threat to take no debt as Alex rightly said. Darling conceded the currency position.

Trouble was people needed to feel every avenue had been exhausted. We’ve seen the UK’s best offer. It is grudging, prejudiced and unworkable. The threats and propaganda are more and more being seen for what they are. Sure some will still be afraid but they’ve seen what happens after no. Can Yes really be that much more scary than never ending fear of where the UK is heading?

Opinion polls showing a 40% lead after all that has been thrown our way are showing we are coming of age. Three hundred years of darkness are drawing to a close, ane auld sang is ringing through the land and soon we will walk into the light.

I couldn’t bear to leave this world without seeing Alex, Nicola or A.N.Other quote something like Martin Luther King’s dream speech. ‘Free at last. Thank God almighty. We’re free at last.’ Now more than ever I expect to and far sooner than I could have hoped after that heartbreak.

  2. I would certainly support and encourage an online accumulating vote, if one could be arranged and run properly with the possible inclusion of a named and trusted non partisan committee, to gauge and ascertain if the Scottish people feel that the VOW promised has been delivered , and if not would they support a further referendum. And if yes to a further referendum would they support independence.

I personally do not believe the promised VOW has been delivered , I would support a further referendum, And I would once again vote for independence Robert T
