Many thanks to Martin Docherty- Hughes MP, Hannah Bardell MP and Julie Hepburn MSP. Latest #BlockchainDemocracy quotes from politicians, academics, business community and us ordinary Scots, now added at MEDIA QUOTES, SCOTLAND’S ELECTRONIC DEMOCRACY
It’s been such an honour to write an article for #BellaCaledonia, @YesDayScotland invested 5 full days on this single piece, distilled to the very essence, a totally unbridled ambition for Scotland’s future democracy.
The article went google world top 5, for search term ‘blockchain democracy’.
‘In looking at replacing Westminster’s archaic voting establishment, with our very own blockchain system capability here in our own country, the scope is thus far Scotland’s digital technology takedown of the 21st century’.
‘And if Scotland does the things that we are now capable of, we will literally astound ourselves’.
All of course, awaiting results of the newly announced Scottish government trials of digital voting, which to this day, we still don’t even know if they will base on blockchain! Anyways, from the heart, and with links to media quotes and our Business for Scotland #BlockchainDemocracy #Trilogy.
29 months after the Scotland conceptual of #OCM accelerated into #BlockchainDemocracy – it’s nice to see celebrities getting in amongst the blockchain action!
So, say hello to the combination of #Pitbull, #AshtonKutcher, #TheGame, #GwynethPaltrow, #KatyPerry, #Nas, #DJKhaled, #MelB, #JamieFoxx, #ParisHilton, all aligning with @YesDayScotland mentality! Check it out: Celebrities Promoting Crypto & Blockchain
It’s only a few words of an academic article, and 24 hours after going online, it had only been shared twice. Time will tell, but it’ll probably prove to be a hugely significant article for Scotland, and in many further wider additional contexts.
Such joyful reading – From Beautiful Streets a New City Is Being Built
Delighted to confirm that @YesDayScotland has been invited to the Scottish Parliament for an update on what’s happening with the future of digital democracy, we’ll be live on twitter on Tuesday 19th June at 6pm, from the Sir Ian Fleming room.
The Event is being organised by WebRootsDemocracy, and centres on their #Cratos project
YesDayScotland submitted #BlockchainDemocracy conceptuals into the SNP Member Policy Unit 2 years and 4 months ago.
Here we are today, June 2018 and the SNP still don’t even have it on their conference agenda for discussion, despite confirmed Scottish government trials for digital voting. Frustrating, but the wheels of progress turn slowly in Scotland …
That said, MP Martin Docherty-Hughes, now heading up the Westminster Scotland MP Blockchain Group, confirms that there are plans to have #BlockchainDemocracy on the agenda for the ‘more important’ October 2018 conference. There is a process to enable that:
On the democracy radar big style:
EmerData Limited has a similar director structure to Cambridge Analytica.
*KLAXONS are certainly sounding*
Are us Scots, and #Scotland’s @scotgov actually going to permit a company from #England (#EmerData – new version of #CambridgeAnalytica) to get paid by UK Unionists to brainwash millions of Scots? ⬇️
You do know what’s going to happen if there’s another referendum in Scotland? Unionists will stop at absolutely nothing, investing millions of £’s in using all social media channels to ‘brainwash’ and ‘bribe’ misinformed Scots, into voting No.
Unionists will do everything they can, to buy the result, even if it is based on secure blockchain platforms. Unionists also have a strong starting point, (if you believe 2014’s figures) with 2,000,000 (45% of the entire 4,400,000 Scotland electorate) No voters.
So, we want to know, what / who / where / how is the Strategic Plan getting created, to counter that social media capability? And to fight that ‘brainwashing’ with TRUTH???
For absolute sure, Scotland’s YES political leaders need to proclaim, ‘No! We are absolutely NOT going to accept Unionist brainwashing, ever again’.
And it’s great to see that we are not alone, in believing that Community Activism can win the Independence Day:
One very relevant start point for that TRUTH, is the newly announced Business for Scotland program for creating 1,000 #IndyAmbassadors – YES please! That’s twitter: @theintelligiser applying a totally necessary and defined business mentality, to that core issue.
Hundreds sign up for new Scottish Independence Ambassador Programme Wishing every success ahead, to all involved.
Very much hoping that the Ambassador program fully extends into Cognitive, especially aligned for previous Soft No voters. Again, our thoughts are all aligned with regards to the very essence of truthful and honest democracy:
In the meantime, one very relevant tweet from Napier University’s BlockpassIDLab.
So, *watch that space*
Here’s some global blockchain perspective from Edinburgh’s Wallet Services, who are the Scottish government blockchain public infrastructure partner.
One of our recent tweets has accumulated some 18,000 impressions, on that basis we’re now in dialogue with PhantomPower14, about creating a wee film clip. We hope that it’ll bring much needed comfort and understanding to a very big section of Scotland’s citizens, who were lied to by Unionists back in 2014.
Truth again, because #WeAreScotland
Twitter: @YesDayScotland has been admittedly driven by two key figures from 2014. 660,000 non-voters, and 140,000 non-registered voters.
We have seen nothing from Scotland’s government, to define EXACTLY how these 800,000 people are to be involved with further decisions about Scotland’s future. We have of course provided many possible solutions, as part of all Investigative Reporting, and let’s remain hopeful that someone in authority actually has it figured, because the combined figures are 18% of all voters.
The 800,000 are mostly in the impoverished demographic, most likely therefore to be YES for Independence, IF they can be encouraged to register and participate. Stated in humble opinion, the best way of doing that, is via Community Activism, on Scotland’s doorsteps. Digital ID’s for all citizens, activists using internet devices. Make it happen.
Is it conceivable that our Scottish government could take us to the brink of global pioneering #BlockchainDemocracy success, only to fail to deliver because either (a) blockchain academics and professors had insufficient time to deliver digital vote trials, or (b) it was concluded that a referendum should be based on paper slip voting, because people were already familiar with that vote process. YES! Both of those are still possible today.
All we can say, is that our Investigative Reporting has delivered #Project1Million – a potential 1,000,000 new YES for Independence voters, IF the Scottish government embraces all parameters.
Our source article HOW TO CREATE ONE MILLION NEW SCOTLAND YESSERS has been organically shared at source by over 300 people, and nobody anywhere is disputing the capability. Which speaks for itself.
And if #BlockchainDemocracy is not used for a future referendum, we’re fairly sure, pending confirmed results of digital vote trials, that Scotland’s future democracy and elections as a generality, will be via digital. Again, our policy submission for that, was February 2016:
Helpfully intended, we also point out, as far as we are aware, all Scots who do not yet have a unique Digital ID number (Under 26’s and OAP’s all have), will have that capability Spring 2019. If there’s a way for citizens to interface with electoral roll (defining who can and who cannot participate), then we are on the capability of delivering a modern era #BlockchainDemocracy Covenant for Independence. The global warriors for modern democracy have the backs of Scotland’s YESSERS, £50M of technology is deployable when possible to do so. SCOTLAND NOW HAS POTENTIAL TO BECOME THE WORLD’S LEADING DIGITAL DEMOCRACY
Whilst we will continue to have a good think, our thoughts are very much with Scotland’s blockchain academics and engineers.
Either which way, Viva la Revolution.
All best wishes,
Update 11.6.2018 A Sovereign Identity for a Sovereign Scotland?
And highlighting the concluding quote, ‘So the opportunity for Scotland is simply one of implementation; the technological leaps have been made and the best practice blueprints documented and shared. We have talked the talk of becoming a world leading digital nation, now we need to walk the walk’.
