In passing, in 2015 we were the first in Scotland to request a social media Saltire emoticon. This cause was taken up 2 weeks after our tweet, by Alex Salmond, former First Minister for Scotland. Maybe that was coincidental?
In 2018, we suggested to the organisers of The Edinburgh IronMan 70.3, that participants should have the option of taking part, with a Saltire on their bib number, instead of a Union Jack. That happened as well. If you dinnae ask, you dinnae get!

Update 14.6.2018 We’re delighted to confirm that we now have plans to deliver Scotland’s first ever blockchain-underpinned poll on Scotland’s Independence.
Since 2014, the polling companies (virtually without exception) have been telling Scots that there is a small margin against Independence. That contrasts with, for example, the ScotPulse digital poll from summer 2016, which delivered (after extrapolating Don’t Know’s) 65% YES.
The stated opinions of polling companies are also in absolute contrast to every single online poll we have ever seen, all of which have been runaway YES for Independence. That applies, to online newspapers, twitter, Facebook, you name it!
So, it’s time for some truth! Mapping will certainly be able to drill into Scotland-specific. Watch this space, we’ll be going live at the beginning of September.
In the meantime, our sincere thanks to @voteclearpoll
Best wishes one and all.
